Envisioned to be an abode for the mentally challenged and homeless, Mariasadanam has passed twelve fruitful years since its inception. The unique model used here for treatment has enabled hundreds of patients to regain their normal life and return to their family and society.
So far more than a thousand people who were wandering in the streets were retrieved and given adequate care and treatment. Some of them after receiving their treatment and a full recovery serve as volunteers in Mariasadanam.
The community around here and the society as a whole participate in the good works done here and many eminent people and personalities have visited and appreciated the quality of treatment for the mentally challenged. Many people have contributed to the growth of Mariasadanam through their help and goodwill to participate in the activities and functioning and we are thankful to them.
We have a fully functional art troupe here which conducts drama and orchestra on demand which formed mostly of the inmates. Involvement in art enables the patients to improve their condition and it brings them closer to the society that eyes them with despise.
There are people who are less fortunate than us, Lets extend a helping hand to them.
