Christmas Celebrations - 2011
We have celebrated Christmas in the presence of Mr. Jagathi Sreekumar, eminent artist and comedian of malayalam film industry. The other distinguished personalities present in the occassion were Mr. Baiju Kottarakkara (Director) and Ms. Sonia (Actress- Malayalam Films). The event was a grand succes with active particiaption of all the inmates and the people from the neighborhood.
World Mental Health Week
World mental health week programs conducted at Mariasadanam. The event was organised with the help and co operation of Meenachil Legal Service Soceity, Pala BAR Association, World association for psychosocial rehabilitation (Indian Chapter) , Indian psychiatric soceity rehabilitation speciality, Pulimalakkunnu Residents Welfare Association and Manasa Cultural Soceity. The program was inaugurated by Most Rev. Dr. Philippose Mar Christostam. The other eminent guests in the program were Mrs. Gracykkutty Kuriakose, Rev. Dr. Dominic Vechoor( Chancellor, Pala), Rev. Fr. Dominic Vennayippillil, Prof. Mathew Kanama (H.O.D of social work, Theophilis College, Kangazha), Sri. C. M. Mathew Chakkala( President PRWA),Rev. Fr. Immanuel Periyappuram, Sri. Antony Maliekkal, Sri. K.V. Shajimon (Secratary -PRWA)
Public Awareness Program
The public awareness program on 08-10-2011 was inaugurated by the Hon. Minister for Finance Sri. K.M. Mani. Adv. Geroge C. Kappen who is a well known public activist was honoured at the event.
Seminar on "Mental Health and Life"
The seminar was inaugurated by Padmasree. Dr. Kurian John Melamparambil. The chief guest in the program was the Kottayam Superintendent of Police Sri. C. Rajagopal IPS. The other eminent guests in the program was Dr. Roy Kallivayalil, Adv. George C. Kappen and Rev. Fr. Vincent Kalariparambil. Sri. R. Jayachandran Pillai( DySP of Police DCRV Alappuzha) who has won the medal from the Chief Minister of Kerala for his eminenent service was honoured in the event.
Onam Fest-2011
Onam festival was celbrated at Mariasadanam on the days of 4,7,9,10 -Sep- 2011. The whole fest was conducted and orgranised by the help of Pala Jana Maithri Police and Pulimalakkunnu Residents welfare Association. The guests in the celebrations were Padmasree K.P. Udayabhanu(Singer and Musician), Smt. Kaviyoor Ponnamma and Sri. Bless( Film Director ).
